Yes it is possible to have a long distance relationship.
I myself am in a long distance relationship.
I am from California and she is from Indiana. We haven't seen each other but I'm going to move out there and live with her. It's a very hard thing to do and sometimes you can't handle it, but I manage.
Sure there is the thought that she'll cheat on me but you gotta have trust. It takes a lot of patience to be in this kind of relationship but it's worth it.
I have been with my girlfriend for 6 months and things are going very strongly.

∙ 17y agoThe stats are extremely low on this, but the odd couple fall through the cracks. It's different if you are going steady or are married to a partner and they go off to war or the company they work for have sent them off to Another Country for 6 months to a year. The other partner should be loyal and wait. It's easier because in those two cases there is a light at the end of the tunnel and generally speaking one can catch up on lost time and have a future to look forward too. Unless a person is lucky enough to have enough money to make several trips a year to visit this person in another country then it's not likely to work. Human nature made us so that we need to physically touch that person and see body language.
