The universe doesn't have a certain amount. It goes on and on. its like a 8. if you look at it closley, and put it on its side, it will be called a infinity. It means that it NEVER has an end. One there is a stop in the universe, there has to be somthing behind it.
The universe will be expanding for the foreseeable future. We don't really know for how long, though. It is impossible to calculate the critical density of the universe, which is the value which determines whether the universe will expand forever, or whether it will reach a certain point before contracting.
It seems unlikely for you to physically survive the end of the universe, since you _ARE_ part of the universe.
However, a Science Fiction story from about 40 years ago ("Tau Zero", by Poul Anderson) portrayed a starship crew that accelerated almost to light-speed, in which time dilation slowed their aging almost to a stop. As the universe collapsed around it toward the next Big Bang, the crew kept clear of the catacysm and crossed the boundary into the next cycle, surviving to settle a new planet in the new universe. It was a great story, but that was only science fiction.
Whatever the "end of the Universe" is, that doesn't seem likely. You don't even need to know exactly how the Universe will end. In any case, there are lots of irreversible processes - to read more about this topic, read the Wikipedia article, or perhaps some other sources, on "Second Law of Thermodynamics". There is no known way to revert such processes; there probably never will be.
no one knows but it was born after the big bang
JUST 1 more minute
Answer2:Forever.
13.2 billion years. So far. We have no idea when or how the universe might end.
Yes, the universe will last forever, unless a great big black hole demolishes it
First, we have no information on whether the universe will end, or if it will continue in perpetuity. It's either one or the other - and yet either answer would be astonishing. Second, we have no idea how the end of the universe might come about, or what the conditions at the end time would be, or if the concept of "after the end of the universe" has any meaning at all. One interesting concept is that of an oscillating universe; a Big Bang of expansion, with gravity overcoming everything in the end and pulling every shred of matter back to itself in a "Big Crunch". This could be the prelude to another "big bang". Each universe would be completely new and unaffected by the last.
yes
The "big rip" is a possibility that has been discussed, about the future fate of the Universe - not something that has been confirmed.
The Daily Orbit - 2012 Will Our Universe Ever Come to an End 1-121 was released on: USA: 20 February 2013
The official story, as in the movie universe story, yes it does end with that.
The end of the universe means nothing will survive even the universe itself.
No, the universe is allways expanding, even as you read this!
The Universe is believed to have had a start, namely, the Big Bang. It seems that it won't have an end, and that it will continue expanding forever. However, a time will come in which there is no more available energy, and therefore, no life will be possible in the Universe.
There is no evidence that Parallel Universe exists, but doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Accord of the law of Physics, yes Parallel Universe can exist. However if Parallel universe does exist, it will benefit to because when our universe come to an end, the only way to survive is to escape our universe to parallel universe.
None. Theoretical physicists work on questions like the beginning of the universe, the possible end of the universe, and the Big Bang Theory.
Yes universe is endless and it is expanding but every thing that expands has its end once it reaches that end it explodes this might be the cause of the end of universe so there might be a end of universe
No. McDonalds could very well be the end of the universe, but it is definitely not AT the end of the universe.
yes, it is possible to tour the universe.
How about with a summary of predicted conjectures from the Big Bang Theory - like the possible end of our observable universe.
The universe will end in 5 billion years time.
There is no known end to the Universe. It is always expanding, too.
The End of the Universe was created on 2001-08-24.
