Hi, there,
It depends how reliable is your internet.
It is basically a voice over IP with T38 capability.
This means that at any time you can receive multiple faxes ( up to 30?) instead of one page by one as on normal fax machines... and simulteneously send multiple faxes.
There are hundreds out there, the one I was recommended is Axiatel dot com that notifies you immediately if fax was received or not and what sort of problem...it doesn't give you false positive, that I think is reliable. Hope it helps!
Fax machines are fairly reliable, but they can experience paper jams or other hardware issues, and noise on the telephone line can corrupt the fax data being sent.
Panasonic Fax Machines are the best and most reliable.
Non commercial fax machines tend to be affordable and very reliable.
Fax machines use data network.
Cannon Fax machines are both economical (Ink wise) and reliable.
Modern fax machines use scanned documents to transmit text.
Photocopiers, fax machines, franking machines, computers, coffee machines, shredders, scanners and others.

Network-connectable fax machines can be obtained and function much like a network printer, with added input for recipient data. A networked fax machine will typically come with its own fax software for use by the client when sending a fax from their network.
Fax machines can be hooked up to your regular phone line. The disadvantage of this is that your line will be busy while sending or receiving a fax.
The best brand of fax machines on a budget are the Hp Machines. These fax machines offer basic black and white printing at a fraction of the cost.
I used fax machines before, but it is very uncomfortable, now use <a href="http://www.popfax.com> Popfax </a> which is an internet fax and does not require a fax machine and it is much easier.
Brother is one of the leading manufacturers in fax machines. There are several different types of fax machines including Black & White Laser, Color Laser, and Color Inkjet.
