Since there are bacteria in the mouth of a dog (or a person) you should make sure that the meat is well cooked, if it has been bitten by a dog. Cooking will kill bacteria. The meat will then be safe.

∙ 12y agoI don't think that would be a very good idea. Dogs could carry sicknesses, which could then be released into the chicken. I would say no, but if someone did, make sure the chicken is properly cooked!

Firstly who or what has been bitten by the dog?
If it is the chicken, is that chicken still alive or was it a piece of chicken that had been cooked, put out for serving and a dog snuck in and grabbed it in its mouth?
