my vet told me it IS ok.
i was worried if i DIDN'T give her anything, either A. she would cough so hard she would go into early labor, or B. she would give birth and would still not be over kennel cough and then would pass it on to the puppies, which could be fatal since they are too young to receive the vaccine and they have low immune systems.
my vet said it would NOT harm the puppies :)
You can give your dog anything you want, But the question is will it do harm to him/her and my answer would be to check with your vet before you give any pet human grade meds of any type its better to be safe then sorry i mean after all who would want to do harm to their loyal companion.
my dog is seven years old she had a cold can i give her 250 milligram of amoxicillin antibiotics and how often.
Its it fine BUT you have to be really careful so it isn't the best idea to carry a pregnant dog.
Thinking is that, if possible, you should not let a dog (bitch) get pregnant in her first season.
I'm not sure...
Consult your veterinarian. Do not administer medication to a dog, unless you have specific directions on dosage.
It will be best to give a pregnant dog milk to help to give the pups nutrition
NO
no
I'd check with your vet first, aspirin can upset the stomach, not all antbiotics will agree with pets, if your vet gave you the amoxicillin did they mention to give aspirin also? Aspirin not recommended by your vet can be fatal to your dog. Never ever give aspirin made for human consumption to your dogs.
No, it's not wise to bathe a pregnant dog in flea dip
Do not give Ibuprofen to a dog; it is not safe to use in dogs.
