My brother in law works for a commerical dishwasher repair service. My dishes were looking terrible. He suggested lime away. they look great. I ran them in the lime away and then added an extra rinse. I used about a cup in the dishwasher.
Shut the electrical breaker off and lock it out. Undo the drain hose under your sink. Shut off the water supply under the sink to your dishwasher.Take the bottom front panel off the dishwasher. Undo the water supply attachment to your dishwasher. Open the door to your dishwasher and take out the screws attaching the dishwasher to the counter. Undo the electrical connection to the dishwasher. Slide the dishwasher out. You may have to adjust the legs to get the dishwasher out. If you have a new dishwasher to install, read the directions for installing it, do the reverse to take the old one out.
There is a product on the market called Lemi Shine, available at most major supermarkets. It was recommended to me by our local appliance store. Use it in the main soap well of the dishwasher with every load
Your dishwasher soap already has a water softener included in it. You can run the salt through, but it may affect the amount of soap you need.
I figured out there was an air bubble in the line. I had to unhook it from the bottom of the dishwasher and let some water flow through and then reconnect. That solved the problem. Is the filter clear? is the tap turned on? is it connected correctly?

Mineral buildup in your coffee machine spoils the wonderful flavour of coffee! A good way to remove it, is to run a pot of cold water mixed 50/50 with vinegar through it. You may have to repeat the treatment with fresh water/vinegar several times to remove a heavy build up of minerals. Then run several pots of fresh water through the machine to rince out the vinegar. This works well in irons and kettles as well!
