Ephedra is from the plant Ephedra sinica and is known in Chinese medicine as ma huang and is a component in Indian Tea or Mormon Tea. U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned the sale of ephedra-containing supplements on April 12, 2004 due to reports of many deaths. Ephedra causes irregular heartbeat, seizures, heart attack, stroke, and death in patients so it is not a safe drug to take.

∙ 11y agoId say its safe...I ate one if my girlfriends adipex-p 37.5 and im still rippin off it and 5 hours after I took the adipex my heart was still racing a bit...well I still felt the effects of adipex is what im saying and I popped 3 and half of the watson 502s and I feel great so it obviously didn't kill me...but this is just my experience...I have a tolerance for opiates around 120-150 mg a day...

Edit: I wouldn't say it is perfectly safe. Serotonin Syndrome can happen and isn't something you just brush off
