Yes, it is OK to take these together. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. Acyclovir is an antiviral. They don't interact with each other, so they're safe. Remember to take all of your dosages even after you feel better. You want to kill all of the infection and not leave part of it hiding inside your body!

∙ 13y agoI am currently taking and antiviral (acyclovir 400mg) for herpes, and I was prescribed with an antibiotic (Ciprofloxacin500mg) for bronchitis. I've been using them for two days now with no side effects. So I'm pretty sure it's safe.
