No, this is a dedicated .223 Remington chamber, and that's the only ammunition which should be used with this rifle. While the two rounds are matching in dimensions, they are not identical.
The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle marked as .223 can safely fire the .223 AND the 5.56 NATO military cartridge. The Ruger Mini-14 TARGET model should only fire .223 ammo- no 5.56 mm
Depends. If you mean the Ruger Mini-14 or Ranch Rifle, yes, you can. It is chambered for .223 and 5.56x45 ammo. If you read the owner's manual (available on the Ruger website) it will tell you that on page 13. The Target Model is ONLY for .223. Of course, the 6.8mm and the Mini-30 use different ammo entirely.
I believe what you have isn't a Ruger product, but rather, a Rohm Gmbh revolver, manufactured in Germany, and imported into the country by R.G. Industries. The RG-23 used the .22 Long Rifle cartridge.
no
Ruger is one.
.380 ACP
Yes. I own a Ruger M77 Hawkeye in 280 Rem. It plain levels whitetails out to 200 yds, with a 140 gr. bullet. My only suggestion is that if you don't reload, start. 280 Rem is not as popular as the 270 Win or the 30-06 Sprfld, so ammo is not as readily available.
marlin 35 cal. lever action. rifle/ Marlin makes the rifle ,but not the ammo for it.
UMC is the company that made the ammo- Union Metallic Cartridge Company. But we do not know who made your rifle- Marlin, Ruger, Winchester, etc. Please repost with the Make and Model, and we'll try to get you an answer. Sorry-
It will be marked on the barrel. You can also call or visit ruger's website.
