Answer #2: Technically mostly plasma is found on stars rather than gasses due to the immense pressure and heat under the surface ionizing the matter in the core. However, depending on how you look at it, the majority of a star's life has a solid core or not. For the entirety of the main-sequence, an average star's core is entirely helium plasma. However, when a star has fully depleted all of its fuel, it is left with a solid iron-nickel core that, if the star is not too massive, will float through space forever (Or at least until something destroys it), taking about 10 quadrillion years to cool to near-absolute zero. By the way, the Sun is considered an average star.

Yep, or so says a surprisingly knowledgable warthog. The center of the sun is constantly under a very high pressure and at an incredible temperature. I doubt anything could be solid in or around it.

Are the most chemically active solids are found in the noble gas family?

Noble gases are all gases and not solids. In addition they are generally chemically inert as they have completely filled orbitals. Also the most active solids are generally found in group 1

Why gases compress?

Gases are compressible because their molecules bounce off of each other instead of sticking together. The molecules of solids and liquids stick together instead of moving freely.

If cooled does most solids change into gases?

When cooled gases change to liquids (usually) and then solids Solids don't change to gases upon cooling

How can volume be use to separate solids and gases?

Solids have a definite volume and gases have a variable volume

Do Solids usually conduct heat better then liquids and gases?

Solids do conduct heat better than gases, although not necessarily better than liquids. Some solids are actually composite materials, because they can have a porous structure which contains gas within the solid, and this results in solids that do not conduct heat very well. But it is the gas component which has this insulating property.

Would it be easier to separate solutions of gases or solids?

i would say solids but it depends on how good youare with solids or gases. hope this helps :)
