We are talking about three different bikes here with interchangable camshafts that differ a bit. There is the 125 cc, the 185 cc and the 200 cc version of this bike.
Some people have found that the XR 200 cams and the XL185S cams give more power to the engine than the usual stock 200X model cams. The lobe height of these cams is indeed shorter than that of the the regular 200X cams. However, it is not the exact lobe height that is important, it is the duration and the center angles of the camshaft that is the important feature that will give more power to the engine when properly installed.

This camshaft is only for the dual sport bikes and has a higher lift and duration than the XR version camshafts.

about 45-50mph depending on the year with some mods you can hit around 70mph i would say about 50 mph but my 1982 Honda xr 100 goes about 55
With stock gearing should be in the 57-62 mph range. I weigh 120LBS and i was clocked at 82 I used to have a stock XR200 when i weighed about 120lb. I clocked in at 87mph

On the left side in front of the shifter is the drain plug. My 2002 xr 200 does NOT have a oil filter but an oil screen. Take that out also and clean. Put back in with spring and nut, fill with oil an go play.
