No, it is not true. I'm Mormon and plenty of my Mormon friends have left the church and are still welcome with their families. Other members of the families might be disappointed (as is the case with any religious family,) but ultimately we are taught that family is important and you should love them no matter what their choices are.

Also, even if someone has left the Church, they are welcome at any time to participate in worship services and activities, just as all members of the public are. Church members strive to emulate Jesus Christ - who said that we should love everyone! They do NOT 'exile' or 'shun' people. Someone who is "excommunicated" from the Church has simply had their name taken off the official records of the Church. They are still welcome to participate in Church services and activities.

Are there any Bible colleges in Utah that are not associated with the Mormon church?

If you're looking for a Bible College in Utah that isn't associated to the Mormon church in someway may be very hard. I looked online but could not find much regarding this. It leaves me to believe that if there are any, they are either very small, or hard to find out about.

What type of people migrated from the Mormon's?

The people who left the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) in the early days of the Church differed in many ways from the majority of those who leave the Church today. In the past, Church members often faced extreme hardship, and so leaving the Church was often due to not wanting to face the mobs, persecution, and poverty any longer. Others left the Church to become charismatic leaders of Anti-Mormon movements. Apostates even contributed to the murder of Joseph Smith, the first prophet of the Church. Most of those who leave the Church now leave simply because they no longer believe it is true or no longer want to live the lifestyle. Most of them don't have a problem with the Church or it's members and haven't faced any huge hardships for being a member of the Church. Some who leave, however, have an Anti-Mormon agenda just as apostates of the past did. Now, Anti-Mormon movements are largely based in online websites and protest demonstrations at Church events. Rarely when someone leaves the Church is migration involved, however, as Church members have and do live in regular homes, cities, and towns rather than in closed communities.

What is the book of Scriptures of the Church of latter day saints?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) uses the following books as scripture: The Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible: The King James Version for English speakers, various translations in other languages. The Book of Mormon: considered another testament of the Bible, the record of the inhabitants of the American continent in Biblical times. The Doctrine and Covenants: a collection of revelations given to Joseph Smith and other Church leaders The Pearl of Great Price: Includes the books of Moses and Abraham. You can read all these books of scripture for free online, or request a free paperback copy of each to be delivered to you by following the "Related Links" below.

How many points do the book of have Mormon?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking as the Book of Mormon does not have points, but I hope this information about the Book of Mormon might help you:The Book of Mormon is considered scripture by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) and is also used to varying degrees by other sects within the Mormonism movement. The Book of Mormon is similar in structure to the Bible and is meant to be "another testament" of Jesus Christ, demonstrating that God remembers all his children and that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all - not just those in the "old world". It is meant to be used in addition to the Bible, not in place of it. The Book of Mormon was translated by Joseph Smith from plates given to him by an angel. It was first published in 1830.The Book of Mormon contains 15 books which are divided into chapters and verses. In general, each book is written by a different prophet or family of prophets. Most of these books span a period between 600 BC and 300 AD, with the book of Ether being set much earlier, at the time of the Tower of Babel. The Book of Mormon tells the story of a family who leaves Jerusalem in order to avoid the prophesied Babylonian Captivity. They travel to the "Promised Land" under the direction of God, and eventually arrive in what is presumed by most to be South America. The Book of Mormon is mostly a record of their religious beliefs, wars, and social and political events. They come in contact with other groups who came at an earlier time (including the Jaredites who came at the time of the fall of Babel). It also contains a record of Jesus Christ visiting them shortly after his resurrection, in which he repeats some of his New Testament teachings and organizes a church after the same pattern as the one at Jerusalem.

What happens when a Mormon leaves the Mormon?

I assume you are asking what happens when a Mormon decides to leave the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon Church")? Most who decide to 'leave' the church simply stop attending church services. Since they are still on the congregation records, the Bishop and others from the congregation may contact them from time to time to invite them back to church. While this may seem obnoxious, staying on the church records and having occassional contact with the congregation means that the congregation will most likely be willing to help them out in times of need. Some in this group will say they are not Mormon although they are technically still on the records. Others will more accurately say that they are non-practicing or non-active Mormons. Others who are perhaps more serious about their leaving the Church must submit a letter of resignation to the Church to have their name removed from the membership records. The instructions to do this and example letters are available online from many sources, or they can contact the local Bishop for help. (If a letter is sent without speaking to the Bishop, he may still contact the individual to speak with them before he cancels their records) Of course the Bishop's job is to try to keep people in the fold, so they can expect to be questioned about their decision, but if they are firm and sure about their choice the Bishop must cancel their records. After their records are cancelled it is as though they were never a member of the church and must be re-baptized if they choose to return. This option seems to be more common among those converting to a different faith, rather than those who stop attending church to live a non-religious lifestyle. Church leaders request that members do not pressure family or friends who have left the church into returning, but rather pray for them and guide them with love while respecting that they have a right to make their own choices. Of course this can be very difficult for a family that is strong in the church and faces one of their own leaving the faith, but ideally and usually those who leave the church are still welcomed and loved by their families.

What were two all purpose drinks for the Mormon pioneers?

Since water was scarce and often contaminated as they crossed the plains, Mormon pioneers often drank coffee and "Mormon tea" (made by boiling leaves of an Ephedra shrub in water). These drinks were sometimes allowed to cool before drinking as Joseph Smith had warned against the drinking of "hot drinks". Later Church leaders specifically said coffee and most teas were what was meant by "hot drinks", and most Mormons no longer drink either.

Indoor plant heart shaped leaves?

The philodendron family has heart shaped leaves.

Where can you get the Mormon tea?

Mormon Tea or Brigham Tea is a type of ephedra herbal remedy and is usually only available commercially in a pill form. If you want to get the leaves to make an actual tea, you'll probably have to pick them yourself. The "Related Links" below have some links to places where you can buy Mormon Tea.
