Sir Isaac Newton [January 4, 1643-March 31, 1727] was born in notheastern England, in the county of Lincolnshire. He remained in the area, for schooling at The King's School in Grantham and unsuccessful farming in Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth. He relocated to Trinity College, in Cambridge, June 1661-August 1665. He then returned temporarily to Woolsthorpe, for two years, to escape the Great Plague. In addition to his research and responsibilities at Cambridge, he had a career in the Parliament of England and the Royal Mint, both of which took him to London. He died in Kensington, Middlesex, in south central-southeastern England. Death brought him back to London.
