No, it is not true. Where did you get that 'information?'
Impossible to answer without more knowledge about the person concerned.
I am writing this from my own experience. I am a 2x breast cancer survivor and had chemo both times. I got over my fear by thinking it will kill the cancer and I will live. I have a supporting husband and great doctors and nurses. Chemo is not as bad as it used to be many years ago. There are many drugs available now to counteract some of the side effects. Also everybody is different, side effects can be minimal. Chemo is not easy, but it kills the cancer. If you are the person that fears chemo go to the American Cancer Societys website and look for a chat room for the perticular cancer that you need chemo for, read some of the Q and A that patients and survivors post it will be of great help. The more you know the better the understanding. YOU will survive.
The length of time it takes to die from leukemia varies greatly. It really depends upon how advanced the illness is, how much of the body it has spread to, the overall health of the patient, and a number of other factors. Some patients die within a few weeks of diagnosis, while others die years later, or don't die from the illness at all.
I don't think there is a maximum. I know 2 people who are on antiretrovirals and one has been hiv positive for over 30 years, the other just over 20 years. So there is no way to tell.
Every time you smoke marijuana you lose 5 years of your life, it literally kills your red blood cells and de-synthesizes your cell membranes, leaving you a drained, chemo patient looking zombie. Just kidding these are all lies (Check out NORML)
You should be able to, I hope.
My sister went through two years of Chemo and she says Soda is pretty good.
I have been taking various forms of chemotherapy for 3 years, and recently at a doctor's appointment found out that I am two inches shorter than I was before chemo. I have some cancer in my spine and have had back pain the past 6 months, so that may also be a factor. I am 30 years old, by the way.

In captivity, their longevity can be as long as 15 years, though in the wild they typically do not survive past 5 years of age.
