Is it true that people get more respect once they're dead?
i say yes they might be getting better respect because their dead.you would also get as much respect when your alive
It's not so much a belief, more than common manners. More or less, because of their age and their wisdom, they deserve our respect, which we will be given when we are older. We're always giving respect to people older than us (because there's always someone older, even the dead) and there's always someone younger.
So when they grow up to be adults they will value and respect other people's individuality and feelings, children also want people to respect their own individuality and not judge them for the way they dress or act. if people respect the child's individuality the child will have more respect for other.
This is not always the case. Many artists were respected and acheived fame and renown in their own time. Seemingly often, people will neither understand nor respect an artists' work or style during his/her lifetime, but the work will resurface later when people can and do trying appreciate it. The moneterial value of the art may go up after the artist is dead simply because the artist cannot create more.

Individuals do not command or demand respect. Respect is earned! Sometimes people that are respectful of others do not always get the pat on the back they deserve, but others do notice. In the workplace an individual who wants respect should set an example and expect no more or no less than they give themselves. The same applies with family and friends.
There is no reason to respect other religions. They basically teach people to believe in what does not exist, purely on an assertion. They also teach people to be content with not questioning what has been taught to them and not understanding their world. There is no reason to respect that. Religion divides people. It makes people see those from other religions as infidels and outcasts or, as many christians see them, as people who…
It is not a rule to respect superior, but a culture. It is because, in early ages, the adults and old people gave easier and better solution to problems. So it was considered that the elders are more intelligent, as a result people used to respect them, but in this time and period, we must first use our brain and then follow the right path, and there is the culture to respect the elders yet…
