If you are an adult the answer is no. If you are known to have been exposed and are high risk you may be advised to repeat the test in a month or if the lab has difficulty with your test for some reason you may be asked to come back to repeat it. Normally however, no repeat test is needed to confirm the results.
A baby born to an HIV positive mother may test positive for HIV antibodies (which they get from the mother) but not actually be infected. It takes time for those antibodies to be replaced by the child's own antibodies. During that time the child will be tested multiple times to see if he or she begins to test negative. It can take up to two years of testing to be absolutely certain whether or not such a baby is infected.
Doctors will sometimes advise more frequent testing for adults. That depends on the person's risk factors (things they do which make them more likely to get HIV) and has nothing to do with confirming the earlier test results. The new tests are to determine if the person has been infected since the last test, not to prove the last test results were correct.
