- If you are her daughter then no, it is not weird that your mother try on a Bikini and ask you how she looks in it (tell the truth.) Some mothers have great figures and suit Bikinis. If a mother asks a son that is embarrassing to him as he sees his mother in a completely different light and to him only young girls wear Bikinis.
