It always depends on the severity of the bullying. Both are very bad and should be immediately stopped. Physical bullying generally also goes hand-in-hand with emotional and mental bullying, whereas mental bullying can be found alone, but neither are any worse than each other and both can lead to depression and suicide if not dealt with. The first step is to talk about it with an adult you trust.

∙ 11y ago- More often than not wounds from physical bullying heal, but when someone is verbally abused it scars the mind; the person is fearful; lonely; depressed; often will stay in seclusion; drop their other friends; skip school; can become moody; lose their appetite and sometimes become suicidal if the verbal abuse continues. It is the constant assault of verbal abuse that sits in the mind of the victim.
