No, they don't have sony phones. Part of the problem, is that Sony phones aren't compatible with MetroPCS technology - at least not on a full scale. MetroPCS uses CDMA technology and most Sony phones don't use CDMA... Any sony phone I've ever come across needs a SIM Card...CDMA phones don't use SIM cards. That right there should tell you about the obstacles. Now, I'm sure you can go get an unlocked Sony phone, and take it to MetroPCS dealer and have them flash it and get it to work on their network. But I'd be surprised if you'd get full functionality out of it. You also run the risk of frying the phone, although this risk is slight.
Metropcs phones run on CDMA technology and right now, there is no unlocking solution for CDMA-based phones, only for GSM phones.
can i connect an i phone to a metro service?
Nope, cause metropcs does not use sim cards but a esn number. Sim cards are usually associated only with GSM phones, and metropcs Verizon and sprint all use CDMA
Quadband phones run on GSM technology. Metropcs run on CDMA technology. These two technologies are not compatible with each other since they operate on different frequencies.
MetroPCS is an excellent company that has several different models of phones to chose from for your office space. They are priced relatively cheap and factor into the bottom line.
If the phone is from a GSM carrier, then you will not be able to use it on Metropcs, however, if it's from a CDMA carrier, then you might be able to but you need to flash the phone first before you can use it on Metropcs.
