millet spray is a sprig of millet seed, its how it grows, you can't cook one. Most bird seed mix has millet. As long as you feed your bird a varied diet it can live without millet spray. Millet spray is high in fat and should be used only as an occasional treat.

What is the food for young love birds?
I've been breeding birds for many years. For my love birds I mix both budgie seed and sunflower seeds together and give them fresh fruit and veg everyday. When they have babys in their boxes, I put a spray or two of Millet in the box for them the parents will also give them the seeds for the feeders and the fruit and veg. Dont forget the to keep their Iodine blocks and cuttlefish stocked.
