Actually, yes it is. For PS3, you can have a guest to play with you on multiplayer for certain type of game modes like Team Deathmatch and many others. I'm not to sure about Xbox 360, but I think you can have a guest on that one too.

Yes Xbox 360 you can have Split Screen Play with a Guest account or Log in as your own Gamertag.
OPX 7th= XBOX Gamertag On the REAL Video Game Systems.
PS is for Noobs or Children who cannot afford to play to game :P
And Wii is not even considered a Level of Challenge as its targeted for under 10!

∙ 12y agoThe multi-player on MW3 is the best in my opinion. Sadly theres no co-op campaign, but theres co-op Spec ops on MW3 where you can do simulated missions with friends.
