Yes, singing, especially in women, Islam believes its not good for a woman to make men look at her in the bad way and one of the ways to seduce men is to sing to them, thats why Islam forbids women to sing in front of men. In men however, singing is not "Haram" which means forbidden, however, it is not something that is thought to be cool or appreciated. the issue though is not in singing its in music, Islam doesn't forbid singing but forbids music
