Nephthys aided her sister Isis in finding pieces of Osiris' body; standing against Set when he rose to take the throne.
She is sister-wife of Osiris. Seth is also her brother. Nephthys is the sister-wife of Seth, and the sister of Isis.
Osiris is the son of Geb the Egyptian earth god and Nut the sky goddess; his sister and wife is Isis, his other sister is Nephthys; his brothers are Set and Horus the Elder. He also had Horus the Younger with Isis.

Nephthys was an Egyptian goddess. She did not receive temple worship until Ptolemalic Roman Egypt. She was the little sister of Isis and Osirus and sister/consort to Seth. She was the mother to Anubis, the Lord of the Dead. She was seen as the "friend of the dead." Her hair was, metaphorically the winding strips of linen that wrapped the mummies. Nephthys and Isis worked together as midwives for laboring women and their chlldren, respectively,Nephthys at the head of the labor bed and Isis at the foot. "Nephthys" was possibly a title meaning "keeper of the house". She was symbolized as a woman with a house and basket on her head.

Nephthys is the Greek form of an epithet (transliterated as Nebet-het, and Nebt-het, from Egyptian Hyroglyphs). Nephthys is a member of the Great Ennead of Heliopolis, a daughter of Nut and Geb. Nephthys was typically paired with her sister Isis in funerary rites because of their role as protectors of the mummy and the god Osiris and as the sister and wife of Set. Nephthys is occasionally regarded as the mother of the funerary-deity Anubus.So in other words, she is considered the Nursing goddess, or the Protectress.
The consort of Seshat was believed to be Thoth.
