No. Alternative energy means energy sources other than fossil fuels.
Nuclear energy does not come from fossil fuels
Fossil fuels are exhaustible. Electric energy is an alternative.
There are no alternatives to fossil fuels. Fossil fuels were formed by life trapping sunlight falling on Earth over time periods of hundreds of millions of years. There is no realistic alternative for this source (amount) of energy. Once these fuels are used up all we will have is a little nuclear energy and access to the day to day energy currently falling on the planet. This will not be enough to sustain our civilization. The only hope is progress with nuclear fusion energy research.
no
Nuclear fuel has a higher energy density than fossil fuels.
Solar energy is a potential alternative for fossil fuels. It is a renewable source of energy and will be available as long as the sun lasts.
Some possiblities of alternative energy: --Alkanol-based fuels --Nuclear power --Solar/photoelectricity --Hydroelectricity
yes nuclear power
Many people think nuclear is a suitable alternative. Nuclear energy is clean, with no carbon dioxide pollution, so it does not add to global warming the way that burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) does. However, nuclear power has its dangers too. Accidents at power plants can be deadly, and there is no easy way yet to dispose of nuclear waste.
There is a source of energy that is more friendly to the environment that has not been looked into yet such as using the force from the waves to power everything that fossil fuels are being used currently to power and you could use wind power as well to make a better alternative to fossil fuels
extracting energy from nuclear fuels is more expensive than extracting energy from fossil fuels
