It is spelled Horoscope and is part of Astrology- not magic. Both are occult. just take a look- the Zodiac signs- from Capricorn to Pisces are OUT OF SYNCH with the calendar months. They are based on inaccurate Pagan calendar forms which in one version, had l0 months and 360 days for a year- quit flying on obsolete charts! Astrology is a pseudo science. the term Horoscope means Hour scope- or to look at the Hour ( of birth) these are usually not even adjusted for geographic location ( what about Australians born under the Southern Cross which has different constellations entirely!) but are often rigorous on the time-table aspect ( but the zodiacal signs are OUT of synch with calendar months. Birthstones ( Geneliths) which are related- are at least in Synchro-step with the calendar months- June is Pearl and the flower is Rose. again, get your instruments ( and charts) checked- Horrorscope is more like it! astrology is a pseudo-science.
