Can you order Milnot from the company?
If your local grocery store doesn't carry Milnot, you can get it at onlinestore.smucker.com.
Milnot is equivalent to evaporated milk.
Milnot is a specific brand of canned milk that uses soy beans for a higher fat content. If you can not find Milnot, it can be substituted with an equal amount of evaporated milk or condensed milk.
No
I use regular dairy whipping cream in my refrigerated cheesecake recipe. Be sure to use the same amount as in a can of Milnot (12 oz) not the full carton of cream. The taste is slightly different, but not much, and it works. I have tried substituting other condensed milk and it does not work for this recipe.
12 oz
Milnot is a brand of filled milk (marketed as a evoporated milk substitute), sweetened condensed milk and skimmed evoporated milk, now owned by The J.M. Smucker Co.
Condensed milk is just milk with alot of the water boiled (evaporated) out of it. Milk powder has had all the water taken out of it and if you put back only part of the water it will equal condensed milk. If you put back all of the water it will equal regular milk.
yes, you can, but it might not do what you want it to do.
