Puppy chow is a very low quality fatty dog food.....puppy food in general has increased amount of fat which could pose a metabolism issue in an older dog. A high quality dog food along with dog specific exercise would be better
saying no and tapping her on the nose(the mum would bite the puppies noses if they were bad so dont worry about hurting them)
bad food
NO
When we raised puppies we used Puppy Chow and it had a weight chart on it that said how many scoops to feed them per day. Hope this helps!
Please don't do this! Puppies need a lot of vitamins and a good healthy start while they are growing and developing. They also need food that will provide more fat and carbs to burn. If they don't get it, they will seem sluggish and won't develop as they should. Senior dog food is made to have a lot of that stripped out because older dogs don't get much exercise and you don't want them to get fat.
Absolutely NOT! Processed sugar is bad for people and just as bad, or worse for dogs!Get those pups on a good quality diet (Evo, or Blue Buffalo or Innova or Wellness). They will thank you!
Yes, they can often eat the same bad food (food poisoning) or get the same bacteria.
Some yes, some no. It's best to ask your veterinarian.
Only when weaning it from its mother, then soak puppy food in hot water to get soft, allow it to cool before feeding it to the puppy. It should be mushy not watery, then go on to dry food when it has all its teeth, wet food does not keep teeth healthy and causes bad breath.
Yes, there are a lot of them. Milk from a cow is bad for puppies. Chocolate is bad for them as well. Puppies should eat puppy food. It is specially made for what a puppy needs to grow.
does he plays alot he can be tired
It really depends on what kind of dog food you have at your house. Some dog food can make a pig sick or eving kill it. MORE: Pet stores sell pig chow and it is made for a pig. I had a pot belly and fed him the chow with things mixed into it so he had a balanced diet.
