Is quileute legend of vampires or werewolves?

No. Despite what some people may claim, the Quileutes have no traditions involving vampires or "cold ones." Meyer made this up out of whole cloth, and if I recall she stated as such.

Vampires are the natural enemies of Quileutes, the werewolves are designed to fight and kill vampires. However, the Quileutes do learn to work with the Cullens in the series, even if some of them like Leah and Paul still don't like the Cullens. --- In reality? I don't know, I can not find anything that says they are enemies. But Stephanie Meyer claims to have found a link on Google that states they are natural enemies, although every site I have looked on Quiteute Legends they all say nothing about vampires.

The Quileute tribe is a tribe of Native Americans. In the novel, some of their characters do become werewolves (they refer to themselves as a pack). The werewolves are Jacob Black, Sam Uley, Seth & Leah Clearwater, Embry Call, Quil Ateara, Brady, Collin, Jared, and Paul.
