They are pricey-80.00 to 120.00 ea. & they still need turned & put back together. get a 2d opinion before you replace anything. Some shops will lie to you.
Rotor and drums are out of round, need turned, probley just the rotors. Be sure to replace the pads and shoes too. You said it is bouncing. If the body is bouncing then the shocks are bad and need replacing.
I wasn't aware they still came with drum brakes... I've owned three and they've all been 4-wheel disc. If drums were still an option, it will take replacing all factory parts which are different from drums to discs and could be very expensive. This may include the wheel speed sensors and possibly the ABS unit itself. It doesn't sound worth the effort.
Drums
Car shakes when I put the brake check
Rotor not usually necessary, but new hub is generally part of bearing now.
45-150 for one depends on brand genuine Ford parts most expensive but if you need a caliper, you may have damage to rotor as well-depend on why you are replacing
"more expensive"
as long is they are not dug into the rotor its normal after driving to get lines or marks on the rotors and drums
In principle they can be exchanged but the result would be a more expensive motor. Imagine an induction motor with the AC applied to the rotor. That would need slip rings and brushes which would need replacing now and again. All the customers would go for the other sort with the AC applied to the stator and a simple squirrel-cage on the rotor.
The minimum front brake rotor thickness is three aids of an inch. When the rotor does not have the minimum thickness the auto mechanic replacing the brakes can not use the rotor.
every drummer has their own style. their own type of music. with differant style comes differant drums. i personnaly like truth custom drums or dw drums. these are very expensive drums, but are really awesome, pure drums.
