I've used 10w30 in my smallblock an had no issues i have excellent oil pressure i just had the motor overhauled not to long ago also plus royal purple is soppose to last longer
royal colors look really good with metalics. In my opinion, silver is the best for royal purple.
Near the blower motor there is a silver colored relay, follow the purple wire on the blower back. Replace the relay you should be good to go.
Hot PInk, Royal Blue, Purple
On some years, there are 2 separate fuses, one for the switch and another for the blower motor. First make sure fuses are good, if all is good, the blower motor is located under the hood, pass side at firewall. There should be a purple wire going to the motor, on the high blower motor setting there should be 12v at that wire. If 12v is available at the purple wire, make sure your ground is good (blower motor ground is at the motor case - black wire attached). If both are good, most likely cause would be the blower motor itself. If 12v was not present at the purple wire, likely causes are the blower motor relay (which is found just above the blower motor), mode switches ie. vent/blend/defrost etc. (if 12v is not present after the switch - poss colours brown or brown with a white stripe) or blower motor switch ie. high/med/low fault.
the beretta and lumina motors are about the same i have a lumina motor in my 95 beretta
It is a very good, albeit overpriced oil, which is no better than any other major brand.
Synthetics are to good at lubricating and should be used after the rings have properly seated. So run a good non-synthetic the Castrol GTX. Royal Purples advice on the subject is as follows. Taken from http://www.royalpurple.com/prodsa/rpmoa.html "Royal Purple's motor oils are API certified and will not void new car warranties. Royal Purple recommends waiting until the manufacturer's first scheduled oil change or a minimum of 2,000 miles in new gasoline engines before using Royal Purple. Allow 8,000 to 10,000 miles before use in diesel engines." Next why 15W-40 that engine if Gasoline it calls for a 5W-30 or 10W-30. A lower weight oil like 5W-30 would get you better gas mileage. I can see 15W-40 as the mileage on the engine gets up there or it was a Diesel. Hope This Helps.
No they are not strong enough. No they are not strong enough.
its "not supposed to be if it only jumped one tooth",, Good luck.
10w40 would be a good choice for this engine.
it is under the dash rite on top of the steering column GOOD LUCK
A 2007 Chevy Malibu 3500 V6 uses 5 quarts of motor oil. It uses standard 5w-20 motor oil for a good balance of performance and protection.
