Bleach is a salt, but it is not the same as table salt.

Bleach is made of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), which contains the ions Na+ and ClO-.

Any combination of a cation and an anion is a salt.

What is gray salt?

Grey salt is a culinary salt that is hand harvested and has gone through less processing than your regular "table salt", and retains certain nutritional values because of this lack of processing. Grey salt (sometimes marketed as "Celtic salt") is moist, usually found coarse ground, and has a greyish appearance. This salt is highly recommended over regular bleached white salts for both taste AND health reasons. In my humble opinion, it tastes much better as well.
