According to all celestial and divine teaches and religions (Judaism Christianity and Islam sex without marriage consider (adultery) and prohibited ,and there are nothing called (boyfriend or girlfriend) system...only one way to drain the lust and love between man and woman, is the marriage, holy relationship blessed by God
as well as who commit adultery (sex without marriage)deserve the harsh punishment in the Next life (Day of Resurrection ,until he/she repent to God and vow never back to that sin.
But according to the legal system in all the nations I know, it is legal.
