Is snopes politically biased?
I have finally come to the conclusion that snopes is not impartial, factual, neutral or unbiased where Oback Obama is concerned. I have really tried to be neutral myself but have to face the fact that I have never read even potentially critical response of any of snopes responses to the accusations or questions about Obama's viewpoints, behaviors, or background. No matter how much Obama might be admired by someone, he is not a perfect person any more than I - or you are.

Is snopes a scam?
No, quite the opposite. The Snopes website examines hoaxes, potential scams and urban legends for any signs of validity. Some they believe are true, some they can find a bit of evidence for, some are plain lies. Everyone is free to believe what they want, and can believe the hoaxes are truth and Snopes is lie. But the big difference between scams/urban legends, and a site like Snopes, is the former lack any verifiable facts, or use only identifying information that is very vague, and do not cite their sources. On the other hand, Snopes documents things, links to original sources, etc.

What is the differences between forward biased diode and reverse biased diode?
When the polarity of the battery is such that electrons are allowed to flow through the diode, then the diode is said to be forward-biased. Conversely, when the battery is "backward" and the diode blocks current, then the diode is said to be reverse-biased. A diode may be thought of as like a switch: "closed" when forward-biased and "open" when reverse-biased.
