Importing human grade products in sensible 90 day supply amounts is legal, powders and UG products / fakes can get seized. No case of a powder seizure has made it's way into the British press so far.

Most modern countries they are illegal, in Thailand they are legal, and in the UK the law seems to change a lot, they were at one point legal for personal use but i believed they have now changed it to a class c drug. Doctors don't provide anabolic steroids (anabolic meaning muscle growth, which only has one use to build muscle)

In order to correctly answer your question more accurately I'd need you to be more specific as to what kind of steroids, and what how are you defining "legal"? There are a few types of steroids such as cortisone, prednisone,anti inflammatory or anabolic androgenic steroids. Most steroids require not only a legitimate medical use, but a legitimate doctor's prescription. After those 2 requirements have been met, purchase, use and posession would be considered legal. The term "legal steroids" is also used in the bodybuilding community to make reference to a unique group of supplements/chemicals that can be legally obtained, used and posessed. Most of these legal steroids are "clones" or molecularly enhanced derivitives of an original anabolic steroid. Google, Yahoo and even youtube has a wealth of information on this subject.

Part of the UK Armed Forces medical examination requires you to give blood for analysis; they screen nearly everything. In my interview with the army, i quote the major who interviewed me as saying "the armies policy is dont do drugs" and "if you take them, we wont take you."
