Yes it is, with formula SO2
S + O2 --> SO2 sulfer dioxide
sulfur dioxide is sulfur and oxygen interact with each other.
Sulfur Dioxide
Acid rain is caused by sulfer dioxide pollution and reacts with the moisture in the clouds to cause the rain water to becomedilute sulfuric acid which then falls and erodes buildings and statues and also makes lakes and rivers acid there-for killing all living organisums in the river. acid rain also kills wildlife. these are all indirect ways of harming humans via pollution. sulfer dioxide is emmited from car exausts and power stations. if the sulfer was burnt in incomplete combusion then it will form sulfer monoxide (one sulfer atom joined with one oxygen atom) but when this gets into the air it reacts with surrounding oxygen atoms to make sulfer dioxide. (mon) from MONoxide means 1 and (di) from DIoxide means 2. in this case the MON and DI tell you how many oxygen atoms are in the molecule of sulfer. once the sulfer monoxide reacts with the oxygen and makes sulfer dioxide it then reacts with the moisture in the clouds to make acid rain.

Sulfer dioxide.
S + o2 = so2
Sulfer dioxide.
Its is made out of sulrfer and sulfer dioxide frost
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Sulfer Dioxide (SO2) both of which form acids when mixed with rain water.
