Assuming we thinking of Phobosuchus or a close relative, no. Anytime you see "croc" (suchus in Greek) in a name, you can be sure it wasn't a dinosaur.
"Phobo" was dinosaur-size, though; jaws bigger than those of T. rex. He probably ATE dinosaurs that ventured to the water's edge.
The obvious differences between crocs and dinosaurs are 1) no dinosaurs lived in the water; 2) dino legs are directly beneath their bodies, whereas croc legs sprawl to the sides.
Supercroc is said to eat dinosaurs. I don't know if this was true or not, but by the size of it, it very well could eat a dinosaur easily, and even be feared by the dinosaurs. We always thought that Dinosaurs were not afraid of anything (or at least the big carnivores, such as the T-Rex) But, maybe even they feared 1 thing. Supercroc.
The cast of SuperCroc - 2001 includes: Sam Neill as Narrator
25 ft
Deinosuchus is 56 ft and Supercroc is 45 ft so Deinosuchus is bigger
Its a draw between 2 species, Deinosushus and Sarcosushus where both equal in size:the Deinosushus was the prehistoric alligator, it grew 40 ft long and weight 9 tonthe Sarcosushus (supercroc) was the prehistoric crocodile, it grew 42 ft and 10 tonon average the supercroc seems a bit larger though
