yes! I still own a 1982 model year, and it still performs well. This is a bike that was well ahead of the game in its design at the time.
Yes it's a great bike .
Yamaha XT250
A Yamaha 125
No. The LS2 is a street bike. Did anybody ever try trail riding one?
A TTR 125L is what I bought my daughter to learn to ride on. Very dependable and mild mannered, a good bike to learn on.
Kawasaki Kx500, any year will do, but the best bike for a beginner is a Yamaha yz490
Yamaha makes the best dirt bikes. Kawasaki is also good. The old Honda xr bikes were good but the new ones are junk along with suzuki which is completely hopeless.
Yamaha TTR125 is the best dirt bike. I think itβs a good idea for a beginner to use a dirt bike with low engine power. Yamaha TTR is a perfect mid-size beginner bike; it has a 124 CC engine with four strokes.
I asked my buddy the same question. He said that a Yamaha CRF125 is a good beginner trail bike for someone that's about 5'8.
more for drag racing, not trail riding
YZ85's are actually an exceptional bike.. but you have to stay on top of the maintenance.
It is a good bike and i love them they are worth around 1600 bucks
