no, the neon doesn't use a 2.5L it uses two versions of the 2.0L and a 2.4L in the srt4
If same engine, yes.If same engine, yes.
They're both the same, because Dodge and Plymouth are divisions off of Chrysler along with Jeep, and Mopar.
The engine and transmission are removed at the same time out of the bottom.
actually there is also a Plymouth neon as well as the dodge neon their pretty identical an the parts are the same
YesYes
Yes.
there is no Chrysler neon but the Chrysler pt cruisers have the neon engine Well considering I have a 2000 Chrysler Neon i'd say the above answer is not as correct
The Chrysler/Plymouth Neon is physically the same as the Dodge Neon, since Chrysler, Plymouth, and Dodge were all the same company when the Neon was released.
The engine and transmission are removed out the bottom at the same time.
Both model years contain the OBD2 ECM, but the firmware or wiring could possibly be different for each car. And has to be from same engine (DOHC or SOHC) and same tranny(auto or manual).
It is not a direct swap. They are not the same engine. The Jeep is an old AMC engine, the other is Chrysler.
According to the service manual for the 99 neon (which is the same generation and the same engine) the gap should be set at 0.033 to 0.038.
