as far as I know, the oil spill has not reached the eastern side of Florida. Only cities near the Gulf of Mexico have a risk, and Daytona Beach is on the Atlantic side.
It appears unlikely the oil spill will affect the eastern coast of Florida. I am not saying that it is impossible, as there is no such thing as 100% certainty with oil spill forecasts. The oil has in the past 68 days not entered the loop current. This has kept the oil in the gulf. Oil in time degrades and disperses, to the point were the concentration is nearly undetectable.
No.
no
Close to $3.00 a gallon during BP oil spill
Not even close.
As of June 13, no.
Yes, but only small tar balls.
In the Mexican Gulf, close to the coast of Mississipi
No, not so close to the beach. If oil deposits exists close to the beach the wells will be drilled from land and it will save millions of dollars. Some rigs can be seen from some beaches but they are not that close.
the last oil spill was the oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico
The oil spill will stop when the cap is permanently shut. The oil spill was caused by BP and has injured and killed thousands and thousands of sea animals. They are trying to find a way to close the cap and keep it shut, so far, efforts have not worked. The BP Oil Spill also killed 11 people, as well injured many others.
No, only beaches in the panhandle area of Florida (near Pensicola) were affected.
