I wanted to know the same thing. I just ended up with a Samsung and the clarity on my HS850 is no where near the quality with my previous Motorola phone. I'll anticipate other responses on this question.
Yes, it is. I have an LG VX9400 and and HS850 Bluetooth. Works fine.
The accessories that are available for the Motorola HS850 is the Black Bluetooth headset, the blue and white Bluetooth headset, the universal white Bluetooth headset, and the Bulk Bluetooth headset.
Why will my Motorola bluetooth HS850 LED light not stay lit long enough to set up to my phone?
I need the passkey for my motorola hs850
Motorola Bluetooth headsets come in a limited variety of colors depending on the model. For example, the Motorola HS850 comes in grey, silver, blue, or black, according to Amazon.com. Some models do come in colors such as pink. Different models can have different levels of functionality and different purposes, so it is important to research what types of tasks you want your headset to do as well as what color you would like it to be.
With the boom mic closed hold down the multifunction key for three seconds. Once the blue LED is lit open the boom mic (the light should stay lit). Open your Motorola phone and choose "connection", then choose "bluetooth link". At this point you can either choose "Find me" or "Handsfree". I prefer handsfree. Next you will select "search". It should show you a progress bar as your cell phone finds the link. Enable blue tooth on your phone and pair the device. The password to add the HS850 is 0000 (all zero's).
