Morality - The Internet is amoral, meaning it is neither right nor wrong. It is just a tool. A crowbar can be used to get someone out of a car which is about to explode, thus saving their life. That same crowbar can be used to commit burglary or bash someone over the head. So a crowbar is just a tool, and how it is used is up to the user. The Internet is the same way. In and of itself, it is neither good nor bad, right nor wrong. It just is. The same Internet that can spread a wealth of knowledge, help friends communicate, provide wholesome fun, and keep you up to date with the news around you is the same Internet that is used to spread pornography, hatred, illegal content, Computer Viruses, and fraud.
