It's really all about your personal preference:
The Unreal Development Kit (UDK)The UDK (powered by Unreal Engine 3) is definitely the best choice if your game relies highly on graphics, however to unlock UDK's full potential, much reading and time must be spent as the UDK (or Unreal Engine 3 development in general) has quite a steep learning curve. Unity 3DUnity 3D is an engine that is aimed at making game development easy, everything is built into the editor, it's documentation is simple and easy to understand and it supports many different scripting languages, it's graphics are decent, and run on lower end computers. Price (UDK vs. Unity 3D)In terms of price, it's also up to you, Unity 3D is free, although there are certain graphics features that are for Unity 3D Pro users only, such as advanced shaders. UDK is free for non-commercial products, individuals or companies looking to sell a game commercially must purchase a commercial license. Epic Games collects royalties on your game sales, 25% on profits over $50,000. Platform SupportUnity 3D boasts a wide range of platforms that are available for publishing, currently (As of February 4th, 2011, Unity 3D supports the Web, PC/Mac, iOS, Android, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. However additional license fees may apply.) The UDK supports publishing to Windows PCs and iOS devices. Currently UDK, nor does UnrealEd have support for Mac OS X, and Epic has not announced plans to support either at the moment, however Unreal Engine 3 does support Mac O S X. As of the September UDK update, UDK supports publishing to Mac OS X. ConclusionIt's all up to you, if your game relies heavily on graphics, go with UDK, however if you are not a professional, or you don't have a previous background in game/Unreal Engine development, it will take a while to learn. If you are looking for an easy way to develop a game, or sell your game without paying any license fees and paying royalties, than Unity 3D's free version would be best for you. If you want to reach a large mobile audience as well (Android and iOS), then maybe Unity 3D will be for you as well.Well there are many programs for making games. For 3D game making there are softwares like UDK (unreal development kit, Epic Games), which can be downloaded from UDK.com. UDK has the best graphics than any nother game making program. It's free, and plus they made gears of war bullet storm unreal tournament 3 and countless other games with it. But UDK is a really hard program for beginers. There are others too like unity. Although UDK is better than unity. There is one like UDK it is called Cryengine 3. It has great graphic like UDK, they made games like Crysis 3 and stuff with it. plus cry engine doesn't need a exe file. It is a zip fie. the program is free like UDK. You can download it at crydev.net! And then there is another one called Darkgdk. But it isn't free. If you want a very advanced software: there is a really hard but good one from autodesk called scaleform. They worked with many companies. They even worked with UDK cryengine and many others. Scaleform isn't free and it is really advanced. They made game such as mass effect, epic mickey free realms you don't know jack all ratchet and clanks and more. I sure hope this helped
qube 3d is better
Not that familiar with the software, but i'm pretty sure its only 3d stuff
All 3D tvs show a better than average 2D picture.
Yes, the 3DS is much better than the Sony NGP, because of its better games, better grip, and 3D screen.
WolfQuest was made using Unity 3D Pro. There is a free version of Unity 3D with basic scripts provided, though it lacks many of the Pro features used in WolfQuest. Models were, to my knowledge, designed and animated in Maya (a premium 3D modeling program) and imported to the game engine. I know you can import 3D models into Unity easily, as I've seen it done commonly with programs like Blender or 3DS MAX as prime examples. If you know how to make a 3D model, rig it and animate it, you should be fine. There are free 3D models scattered around the worldwide web - it's just a matter of finding them, though there are also premium models out there of better quality. As long as you know how to script in Unity 3D, you should be able to make your own game.
Yes
Matter of preference.
A 3d dvd is no different than a normal dvd except they require special players and special glasses to view the 3d format. http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/digital-3d.htm
Unity 3D :)
of course! It has 3D images and stuff like that! It is cool!
I am a web designer, and I would say 3D rendering is much more difficult and it pays better. A web designer is nothing without the graphs
