Actually Frank Zamboni DID write this. The confusion always arises because it is a different Frank Zamboni than the inventor of the Zamboni ice rink machine; the author btw is very much alive. I found this out because I was recording it in a song and had to track him down to get permission to use it.

NO, Frank Zamboni did not write this poem, although he puts claim on it. I, Richard J. McIntyre wrote this. That is a truthful fact. Thank you for allowing me for this correction.
I would just like to correct this statement by Richard J McIntyre who makes claim to have written this poem... it wasap actually written by Kathleen Benton who's pen name was Toni Francis.
