Cleaning a saltwater pool is no different to a chlorine pool. Checking for pH, chlorine levels, etc. is exactly the same, except you have to also check the salt level in the pool as well. Backwashing filters is also no different. The added component is the chlorinator, which is cleaned by placing it in hydrochloric acid in a bucket. Read up your manual if not sure.
