In order to "deny" something of existing, the thing would have to actually be evidentially existent. In this case there is no proof of God so, therefore, you can not deny it.

Atheists believe, according to Merriam-Webster dictionary is: "one who believes that there is no deity." What this means is that they do not believe in any God or supernatural creator.

The best question to ask is "Is the definition of a theist really someone who denies physics, astronomy, evolution, and modern science to believe in a supernatural creator or God?"
