No. This is an old theory that has been mostly discredited. You can still find videos on in on ytube however - some of them very well done.

∙ 8y agoThe Earth is round. When the plates drift away from each other on one side, they are drifting back underneath in another area. The overall size and shape of the Earth stays the same.
