Depends on the engine---V-6 or V-8. V-6 (3.8L) the EGR is in the front and nothing is blocking it so there is easy access to replace it. A few bolts, an electrical connector, and a gasket.

well you can change the entire rear hatch with that of a trans am's but I dont think it would be worth the the money to convert the car into a trans am style car.
