it is on the transmission pan...you have two....its the highest one....the other is a drain plug...
The engine computer on 1991 Isuzu Troopers is mounted on top of the transmission hump, under the center console in the cab of the vehicle. If you have the 4L30E transmission then the transmission computer is mounted next to the driver side (Left) front speaker.
To change the transmission fluid, jack up your SUV to have enough room to get under the vehicle comfortably and safely. Find the transmission and have a drain pan under it. Remove the drain plug and allow fluid to drain. Remove all of the bolts and lower the transmission pan. Remove the transmission filter and replace if needed.
there is a drain plug and a fill plug on the underside of the transmission. you need to use the fill plug. You can not fill the transmission fluid or check the level, any other way.(it is a ridiculous design, i know.....) go to autozone.com look under Isuzu repair info, then choose the year and choose "trooper".then look under "fluids" the info will be there.
Look under the Trooper and count them.
I own a 1994 Isuzu Trooper, the blower moter is located inside the truck under the glove box.
when accelerating, if the transmission seems to "jump" or "slip" and is fine after that, it's probably low on fluid. while the trooper is on and in park, pull out the transmission dipstick to read the fluid level. wherwe is the dip stick 2002 Isuzu trooper, thank you the 2002 trooper has no tranny dipstick, you need to check it from under the car. on the tranny pan are two drain plugs. one to drain, one to fill. you need to pump the fluid into the fill plug hole. this is best done at a shop that has a pump . fill it up until the fluid runs out the fill hole. quickly replace the plug. do this on a level surface.
Its under the intake
You can find it about midways back under the vehicle, middle left hand side.
under the hood in the fuse box
Under the intake mannifold (you have to remove it to get to it).
Coolant leaking from the heater core.
The g-sensor is located under the passenger side rear of vehicle in front of fuel tank just off of the frame rail. Hope this helps.
