Inside the fuel tank, To get to the fuel pump you must remove the back seat on the sedan or if it is a wagon remove the carpet on the back floor-same on a sedan, There will be an oval plate- remove it , The fuel pump is right there.
The 93 was in the rear behind the back seat on the right side. 95 should be about the same.

No. The fuel pumps changed in 1993 to a different design, from that point on the pump and sending unit were integrated into one unit. They will not interchange.
check fuel pump, low fuel will cause the pump to burn out. just replaced pump in 91 s10 pu because of same thing, the pump is in the tank not real hard to change but you have to drop the tank.
If you're talking about the fuel cutoff switch which disables the fuel pump in the event of a crash, and the Escort is the same as an 80s Mustang, then it's on the left side of the cargo area. There will be a little plastic box with a button on it. Push the button to reactivate the fuel pump.
