The Eastern Hemisphere has more land than the Western Hemisphere. However, there is still more water than land in either hemisphere. The Eastern Hemisphere includes Australia, virtually all of Asia, and the great majority of Europe, Africa, and Antarctica. The land in the Western Hemisphere consists primarily of the Americas. They are the same size, but the eastern hemisphere has more land.
A little of each. The dividing line is the Greenwich Meridian, which passes right through Greenwich England. Keep in mind that "western hemisphere" and "Western Civilization" are not the same thing.
The island of Great Britain is in the northern hemisphere and mostly in the western hemisphere as the prime meridian runs through Greenwich. The small percentage of land east of Greenwich is in the eastern hemisphere.
The Great Salt Lake is not in the Eastern Hemisphere, it is in the west.

They are mainly different by the precipitation and the crops. The central plains have more precipitation (20-40) and the Great plains have (less than 20).The central plains are mostly flat with numerous streams and rivers, however the great plains are much flatter and the climate is much drier.
Scotland is part of the island of Great Britain which lies off the western coast of continental Europe. It is in the northern hemisphere and is considered to be part of the western hemisphere.

It is so great because of the flat land.
